geek.menu can modify your Windows environment to allow certain settings to travel with your Portable menu.

Places Bar
The "places" bar used by many Windows XP applications can be automatically modified to include locations on your portable drive.  You can either select pre-defined options, or type in the location of a folder as a Places Icon.  The $HOSTDRIVE$ and $TRUECRYPTDRIVE$ variables can be entered to reflect mapped drive letters.

Send To Shortcuts
geek.menu can add shortcuts to the "Send To" menu in Windows, allowing you to send files to your portable applications.  Right click in the "Send To Shortcuts" area to add or delete shortcuts. As in many other places, the $HOSTDRIVE$ and $TRUECRYPTDRIVE$ variables can be entered to reflect mapped drive letters.

Append to System Path
You can enter a semicolon separated list of directories to add to the system path, so that you can run applications from your portable drive without fully qualifying the path.  Of course, drive variables are supported here as well

Cleanup Environment only upon full ejection
If you are running geek.menu with an ejection script, you can check this to prevent the Environmental changes from being reversed unless a full ejection is kicked off from geek.menu

Fonts
If you would like fonts to travel with your portable drive, you can create a \PortableApps\geekMenu\Data\PortableFonts directory on your USB drive, and copy fonts to that location.  Those fonts will be registered with the system while geek.menu is running.
