Hiding an application icon

You can hide applications that show on the menu that you do not use.  This can be handy if one application installation creates a series of icons for support applications that you do not use.

To hide an application, right click on the application, and choose "Hide"

To show hidden applications, right click on the left side of the menu, and click on "Show Hidden Apps" from the menu that appears - Hidden applications can then be unhidden permanently by unchecking the "Hide" option.
